AHIA Emory is a multi-disciplinary program of Emory University that maximizes the moonshot potential of life science and digital health innovation originating from Africa through education, research, collaboration, funding, and mentorship.

AHIA Emory programs have been active for 20+ years under the leadership and guidance of a cross-disciplinary team from Emory University in Atlanta, GA.

AHIA Emory has supported and mentored over 35 innovators on their entrepreneurial journey and provided training for 200+ life sciences innovators across the African continent.

AHIA Emory was launched in 2014 with the intent to support the growth of healthcare innovation in Africa.

It was inspired by Dr. Dennis Liotta’s successful lab-to-market journey, including HIV and HepC medications, impacting millions of lives.
